Who we are

The Church is the community of God’s people joined together to reach this world with the news that Jesus offers forgiveness, love, and purpose to all who will follow Him. It is the place where we grow together in our faith and encourage one another as we live out our faith. We believe that the world needs authentic believers; people who “Love the Lord their God with all their heart, with all their soul, all their mind, and all their strength.” (Luke 10:27). With Real Faith comes honesty, openness, and accountability. We do not hide our struggles but work together to overcome them and experience new life in Jesus Christ. How we interact with one another within the church, as well as how we treat those outside of the church is vital. Jesus said, “Love your neighbor as yourself” (Luke 10:27) and “A new command I give you: Love one another as I have loved you. By this, all men will know that you are my disciples” (John 13:24-35).

Where we come from

The current Pastor Don Imel took the church potion back in 2005. While helping guide CCC, to gain a broader vision to love others and love God. Where we imagined a church that everyone has a seat at the table regardless of personal history, background, family, ethnicity, or gender.

Where we are headed

At Community Christian Church, we want to extend open and loving arms to anyone and everyone. The greatest joy is seeing our friends and loved ones enter into a relationship with their heavenly father and finding a family within the church. Our mission is not to stay inside the walls of the church building, but to go out to introduce God to the lost. We want to impact our community, country, and the world for God’s’ glory. We take Jesus’ command to “Go and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19) very seriously. At CCC, we want to make disciples who will, in turn, make disciples of others.
